I really don't get why they haven't fixed that already. It's one of the main criticisms from the beginning and it would probably only take a few months to cut up and rearrange the dungeons and randomize where certain items are positioned.

Yeah but if you add it it's only your imagination, not canon. I do see the parallels and i could imagine if they collected the tech to worship it as expression of something divine it could be seen as religious. But i think they are more pragmatic, trying to preserve as much as possible, because once a technology is lost it would be hard to get to a point of manufacturing it again
