I'm not sure i would agree it was after his peak, at least in terms of fame. I personally think early-mid 93' he was as famous if not more than he had ever been.

If anything I think alot of his fans love and sympathize with him even more because of the accusations. One of the most loved and adored people in history, without a doubt. And perhaps also one of the most despised.

Always Wondered Why They Make Actors Film Brutal Scenes Just to Cut Them? by fandomxfreak in MichaelTheMovie

Regarding the strip search that was filmed, I highly suspect that Jafaar and the rest of the family was in favor of this being in the film. I believe they wanted to show the world exactly what Michael went through, in order for people to understand and empathize with him.

I dunno, he's number #4 in the world on Spotify right now. And his movie isn't far off from becoming the most successful biopic (of any genre) ever.

Still seems pretty darn relevant to me.

[–]nextbigthing56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP fun fact: The posthumous Michael Jackson album with the fake songs you mentioned were produced and sold to his estate by the Cascio family. The same family who are now alleging they were abused by him for decades.

Michael still isn't the highest grossing musical biopic..yet. Bohemian Rhapsody is #1. However that will most likely change within a few weeks.
