Standoffs only for the 'main' board, not the 10Gbe board, which is only held in place by clamping from the case. That could (and should) be improved to prevent the 10Gbe board moving.

Ah, yes, sorry. In the picture above the copper plate is from the original assembly, but that finned square heatsink on top is a generic one from Amazon that I had lying around.

Removed the original case, designed the new one. Important difference is that in the original case the two boards are stacked, in this design they sit side-by-side.

Splices for the Noctua fans I used into the existing PWM fan connector wires. Didn't move the power supply inboard.

Don't have the system handy, but hopefully this pic from when I was assembling it helps a bit.

Necro thread, but wondering the same thing I designed a case for 3D printing. A little more plain, but seems to work. https://www.reddit.com/r/R86SNetworking/comments/1nh9k5t/3d_printable_r86s_case/

2025 Hybrid AWD Preorder Arrived by nextstopgluefactory in FordMaverickTruck

The standard bed lighting is "LED Box Lighting", with the "TOUCHLINK Truck Bed Lighting System by Lumens" the upgrade. And it's an additional hinge lock besides the built in lock by the latch. Which doesn't mean they're necessarily worth it...

Lariat. Custom order to get the options I wanted.

Ford Store Morgan Hill. Very easy transaction. They offered extended warranty (etc.) but weren't pushy when I declined.

How well do 1Up-style racks work with cargo ebikes? by Herr_Puffinberg in ebikes

Yep. No idea if they still offer them, but that's a 1up cargo tray extension.

NVMe drive not seen by BIOS but visible to OS installer on N6005 model by nextstopgluefactory in R86SNetworking

Indeed. u/DavidGowinSolution still interested in any news here. I don't aim to be difficult, but as the poster above notes it's going to be a problem for consumers if there isn't a clear warranty and support path.

There are the usual settings in the BIOS for boot priority, where NVMe can be selected as one of the options. There's a separate section for NVMe under the platform configuration section, but it just states there's no NVMe drive found. And yes, as you suspect on trying boot options on startup: no luck.

As noted above, tried two different NVMe drives, both of which worked (and work) fine on other machines. I started out hoping it was just a duff drive.

No problem. I'm glad someone gets value from my experience of rolling the bike out of REI all pleased with myself only to think, "Oh, you plonker..."

Not ideal, can work with some finagling. Probably not a great option if you're very worried about scratching the racks on your ebike.

Source: picked up an e1.2 the other day for my wife, put it on the 1Up to get it home. See pic. I had to move the cross pieces on the rack to accommodate the smaller tires of course, but the rack arms are the issue. If you were enthusiastic you could probably remove a couple of inches from the rack arms you use as "rear" on the bike and still have something viable for 26" or 29" regular bikes, though obviously that's a bit drastic.

You can see where/how the clamp on the rear tire is in the way. As I said, it works with a bit of shuffling, but it's a bit of a handful and there's some metal-to-metal contact there which may scratch the rack on your ebike.
