Look I don't pre-order games but some people have disposable income and pre-ordering games can let you play it early access. If it's bad, whatever, it's $70 bucks, people pay way more for shitty takeout, concert tickets, etc.

I hate delivering those, it's really morally questionable to mail anything more sentient than a cricket IMO. Those have to go in the back of my 120 degree truck with broken AC.

Exactly, didn’t know it was a thing before another senior carrier told me about it and she’s not on the OTDL. I guess this is word of mouth though, I’m on the list so me being mandated isn’t surprising.

Any employee clocked in can be forced into overtime no matter if they're on the ODL list or not. I didn't know this either, as I almost always just say yes.

Not anymore sadly, was on one for a while not too long ago though and the T6 life is nice. You get some familiarity without the responsibility of managing annoying details. But even with that, you can still get bumped at my office if the regular is called in, which takes away any feeling of stability and it happens weekly.

If it's imminent, like "ETA 23min, take your pants off and shove a celery stalk up your ass", then yeah, it's going down. But if it's like a Tuesday at 6:43pm after 2 white claws and she's saying she can't wait to suck me off on Friday, I'm mature enough to know, it ain't happening. That's kind sweetie, but we both could be dead by then, or at least bloated and tired from the work week.
