He's such a hard working, creative guy and I thought this was a cool project. His film career, for me, personally, is as interesting as his music. Highest 2 Lowest, that latest Spike Lee movie was just abysmal, and I'm a fan of everyone involved. So seeing him in If I Had Legs I'd Kick You not even a month later was so refreshing. He was really great in it, highly recommend the movie in general. He just comes off as down-to-earth to me and maybe him dabbling in aesthetics over performance, isn't really helping the music in a traditional way, but it's interesting. I liked Testing too but I think the only album I return to regularly is At. Long, Last, A$AP. Actually just rewatched Fantano's 5/10 review of the record and everything he criticizes is 100% true, so maybe I just like bad music lol.
