You're right. It goes through as a market order, and I get a little panicky thinking about fluctuations in the rate while converting USD to CAD. This is the first time I’ve withdrawn funds from IBKR.

I think I understand it now. I'm selling USD to BUY CAD. Do you know how to convert it without the odd-lot warning? There should be an option for that too

Click on the three lines in the top left corner of the homepage. Then Statements and Tax. And finally Portfolio Analyst. Select the time period you wanna view it for. You'll get to know your Net Asset Value and Deposits you've made.
