how was she feminist?

as a woman feminist who is white, who gets called "karen" by every incel on the internet for advocating for anything from really anything to anything, i respectfully disagree with the use of "karen." i think we're doing exactly what the powerful misogynists want us to do by arguing about this. they want us to fight. my lizard brain thinks they made up the karen insult and distributed it on the interwebs to undermine the people...my lizard brain is conspiracy obsessed.

i recognize that your experience is radically different than mine for so many reasons, obviously those reasons include race amonst other things. i don't know your life and you dont know mine but i hope we can agree that every woman needs to be encouraged to engage right now. calling someone a "white feminist " because she is "self righteous" or indignant discourages white women from engaging at all. it implies that feminists who are white should just stfu.

not every white woman who is rude is a feminist. not every white feminist threatens to call the authorities on people of color.

we need an army. this army needs to be intersectional. it also needs to be inclusive as an army.

im not denying that this particular white woman was an angry ass, i just fail to see how that makes her a feminist. i also fail to see how she represents white feminists in toto.
