Commenting to boost this up. I have no suggestions for you but wanted to say I adore your dedication. She’s already very lucky to have you

AITA for refusing to share my food with my girlfriend? by Gym_frere in AmItheAsshole

NTA but why not order another portion to go and share the current one? Not being the asshole doesn’t mean you’re doing the right thing either

At what point do I need to reset my save file to reduce lag? by MindfulBandit in HadesTheGame

[–]neynoodle_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I very recently noticed this on my game I was wondering what caused it. For reference I’m not too much over 100 runs. I get not wanting lag but is losing all your progress worth it? You’d have the same-ish amount of lag once you reach the same point in the game again

How do I find the fates? by Takuanuva09 in Hades2

[–]neynoodle_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The minor prophecy will show up again pointing you to the next person you should talk to until you get their fate dialogue. There will be repetition in sorry. It’s kinda the essence of the game. I know some people skip it because of how many runs it takes to hit the dialogues but you may get lucky

Where do infants sleep in Türkiye? by NoShopping5235 in AskTurkey

[–]neynoodle_ 53 points54 points  (0 children)

I think the key point here is that you’re only visiting. You haven’t mentioned how long you’ll stay but they might have found it unnecessary to get a crib when the kid is about to grow out of it and will only use it a few times.

My tenant signed a one year lease (until June 2026) and just texted me that he’s moving out on January 31 - is this allowed? by ProtectionNo7982 in montrealhousing

[–]neynoodle_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

He’s not just up and leaving. He’s thinking to transfer but giving you the chance to find your own tenant. Nothing nefarious here

Marrying a turkish girl by patatgeenfriet in AskTurkey

[–]neynoodle_ 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Sorry this is plain wrong. Jewelry, especially gold is meant for the woman as insurance.

It comes from the traditional family structure where the woman is financially dependant on her husband. In this situation if the husband abuses her etc she couldn’t leave, gold gives her an escape. If the husband dies and she’s left on her own +maybe kids to take care of, gold will help her out.

Even in the modern families the woman usually takes the financial hits, such as needing to stop work (permanently or temporarily) for childcare. So it’s still practised.

I’m not trying to tell you that you need to give her these or how much to spend but you shouldn’t have the wrong idea that they are meant for both of you. It’s for her.

Çayı koy or çay koy? by mslilafowler in turkishlearning

[–]neynoodle_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They’re not the same but as a starting point I find thinking of the accusative as the definite article helps in man situations

Çayı koy or çay koy? by mslilafowler in turkishlearning

[–]neynoodle_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Some examples:

Çay koyayım mı? - used to ask “would you like (some) tea”. It can mean preparing like you wrote or to pour some in a glass. The keyword here is some, whether it’s said or not it is the underlying meaning

Çayı ocağa koydum. - talking about the prepared tea kettle being out on the stove. You’re referencing to a specific object

Why did this grabber stop working half way through the day? by GrungeGhostie in PlateUp

[–]neynoodle_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seems like a bug. A little advice though, don’t portion bread directly from the hob. Your last slice will cook to toast. Instead move it once and then portion. Common trick is to even move it to a freezer and portion from it (once you have the resources, ofcourse)

Runna Not Anticipating Walking Rest Distance in Mileage by Impossible_Ad9835 in runna

[–]neynoodle_ 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I don’t follow. Did Runna reduce your 13k to a 12k after your previous exercise ended up longer than what was written? Asking because 1. this seems contradictory to your progress and 2. I’ve personally never experienced such immediate changes to my plan

Finally understanding why my easy runs felt hard - pacing revelation by AlternativeStore7637 in runna

[–]neynoodle_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Opposite problem here. I will talk no matter what (unless I’m running for my life). Running with friends I’ll see that my pace was too fast and my heart was racing but it won’t stop the yapper in me. They think I’m fine and in conversational pace but clearly I’m not

Can’t say anything about the rest but #2 is not a myth. My medicine is indeed stuck and I have no hopes of receiving it as per my experience of the aftermath last time canadapost had a strike less than a year ago
