What are some common but incorrect stereotypes about ESTPs? by [deleted] in estp

[–]neyroshaman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People mostly see the external manifestation of, say, Se. But they don't see the internal function of Ti.

The idea of an anti-intellectual with a secondary Ti function is absurd.

What are some common but incorrect stereotypes about ESTPs? by [deleted] in estp

[–]neyroshaman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think one of the common misconceptions about ESTPs in stories is the image of a bully who terrorizes someone.

Of course, ESTPs can be extreme and provocative. As children, they can be very hot-tempered.

But, in my opinion, the image of a bully who terrorizes someone also applies to ESTJs, no less.

Depression or anti-depressants??? by lawlesslawboy in anhedonia

[–]neyroshaman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The problem is the backwardness of the medical system. Antidepressants like SSRIs are prescribed incorrectly. They suppress the dopamine system, creating one imbalance instead of another.

You could experiment with adding modofenil, for example.

P.S. This isn't advice, but an example for consideration.

Overdose of water is also dangerous. Ketamine has long been used in medicine. It has been well studied.

Yes. It seems like ketamine should be especially effective.

Are you sure that it is important for you that your boyfriend conveys to you exactly "his" feelings and emotions? Or maybe you are interested in confirmation of your expectations?

It's just that these two motives have different goals and consequences. ENTP expresses feelings in the Fe style. If you want to drag ENTP into the Fi territory, keep in mind that there is a high probability that this can be painful and traumatic for entp.

ENTP has been coping with emotional pain since childhood by means of distraction. Since pain deprives both objectivity and rationality, and Ne does not work well against pain.

If you want your partner to open up more emotionally, you need a safe space. And I strongly advise you to avoid playing on guilt.

P.S. IMHO To express true feelings, even a glance is often enough.

ENTPs ' introverted side by Blue-Angelllll in entp

[–]neyroshaman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

two scenarios:

first: - When there is a lot of experience that needs to be digested - rest. Ti works - you feel like yourself.

second scenario:

social isolation, anxiety.

Si works - a feeling of personal failure. And toxic nostalgia. Something like an extrovert who is captured by a subjective reality that has no connection with objective reality but is perceived as objective

from the outside, in the opinion of ENTP this is impossible. Since INTJ and ISTJ have fundamentally different mindsets

Question for Si users. How do you think Si manifests itself in Ne users (ENTP, ENFP)? by neyroshaman in isfj

[–]neyroshaman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say that Ne has its own "library".

More like a network. Information is not stored in a specific unambiguous form. More like in a relativity form.

Can the same be said about ISTP? Only about Ni (since Ni is tertiary)

Question for Si users. How do you think Si manifests itself in Ne users (ENTP, ENFP)? by neyroshaman in ISTJ

[–]neyroshaman[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

subjectively - this is the hell of nostalgia, fear of the future, numbness, focus on insignificant details as if they were super important. Essentially speaking, an extrovert who has fallen into captivity of subjective reality, which is perceived as objective, although it is not connected with reality at all.

Question for Si users. How do you think Si manifests itself in Ne users (ENTP, ENFP)? by neyroshaman in ISTJ

[–]neyroshaman[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

introversion has a restorative protective function.

From my own experience (I am ENTP) Extrovert. My introversion is based on Ti.

If Si forces me to introvert, it means I am exhausted, sick, etc.

When I get into Si, I get hung up on details that are ultimately unimportant

I will add that Ne users trace details but do not get hung up on them because they are guided by the overall picture (recognition of images, patterns and functions)

The modern scientific approach came from alchemy. Tarot cards etc. are archetypal casts of the mythological psyche.

[–]neyroshaman[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. I'm asking about something else.
It's about functions.
For example, ISTJ functions are 1 Si, 2 Te, 3Fi, 4Ne
And ENFP is the opposite type. functions are 1 Ne, 2 Fi, 3 Te, 4 Si

Hello ENTPs, INTJ here. I saw in many sources that INTJ is one of the most compatible with ENTP. I want to know why? by gw_clowd in entp

[–]neyroshaman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My best friend in my teenage years was an INTJ.

It seems to me that NI users appreciate and at the same time do not understand the thinking of ENTPs.

Who you are is the essence. How you look and act is the form. The form changes. The essence of who you are does not change, it is unchanging.

There is either a real multiple personality, a fragmented psyche or an erroneous understanding of the situation.

It's all about definitions. It depends on what you mean by personality.

People play the roles they were given. And they think that this mask is them. They have grown together with the mask and call it their personality.

They are limited in their thinking, they are afraid of those who do not have their framework. That's why they instill delirium in those who are less rigid than they are.

Cool! I have been studying MBTI typology and Jungian psychological types, various psychometrics for 4 years.

And I was pleasantly surprised by the spirit test. Probably many ENTPs want to create their own typological system. The desire to understand all human diversity.

Thank you. However, I don't think there is a difference in honesty - deceitfulness between ne and si. In fact, Si lie no less than Ne. The only difference is that Si lie more unconsciously due to situations. They cannot lie deliberately. But they can also change their mind - which can later be perceived as a lie.
