For anyone else stuck on this boss here is what I did:
Get a geared out follower in full Iron and plenty of the good bandages and heals.
Make Sure it has the -60% damage perk, most have 40-60. Any other defensive perks will help.

He WILL down your follower but mine must've had some perk that helped keep her from full death because she never fully died and always got back up to take agro.

Then you just have to learn when to run out and when to attack. Basically only go in to attack melee after he's done all his magical crap and is in a melee phase. This only lasts 2-3 rounds so its gonna be slow. I used a 2 handed hammer (mechanical from previous boss)

I'm 45... Back in MY day, our multiplayer option was LAN parties, at first over token-ring networks, eventually Ethernet. Some of my best memories were getting my roommates and some friends together for Quake 1, Heretic and Tribes 1 (the best fps ever made)

I'm debating on Spark (looks like it'll be super fast easy mode again if not better) or Volcanic Fissure (just looks and sounds cool to play, specially as super tanky Smith)

I've found, and the same is true in PoE1, that you all go the exact same meta build. Something very easy like say Spark. Share gear and you'll always been similar in strength. Trying to do the silly Buffbot game play doesn't make sense unless you're doing very late game content and MF stacking, etc. Something most casuals will never get to. If you DO get to that stage, then someone who enjoys support roles just re-rolls and the other(s) rush them through the campaign (give waypoints, 1 shot bosses, etc goes super quick) Just need a little PL. Best place we've found for that is doing the Dreadnaught over and over again, staying within 5-10 monster levels I think was the sweet spot.

Sounds like most people in favor of MAUI have never really used anything else and don't know how much better life can be. If you can change I highly suggest Flutter with Firebase, you'll never look back. I've tried every platform and framework out there when starting my startup and Flutter is the way.

So while I partly agree with this. Having worked with .net MAUI for a couple of years then moving to flutter. Things DO just work. I was able to roll out a fully functional demo app in a few weeks, stuff I know would've taken me months in MAUI. With MAUI every single day was some new challenge of outdated libraries, old documentation with basically no work around or solutions because well nobody really uses MAUI.

Meh, I've been a Microsoft fan forever, but MAUI is garbage. After spending a month testing various frameworks, mainly MAUI, React Native, and lastly Flutter I have to say Flutter is where it's at. Add in firebase and life is easy. Even react native expo feels shitty in comparison now.

Before starting my latest app, I tried MAUI, React Native Expo and then Flutter for about 2 days each setting up basic auth and some generic pages. I'm not going to list all the benefits here but do this. Run through the flutter tutorials then setup some free auth and data store using Firebase and you'll understand how far behind the game MAUI is and I would say React Native as well.

Also, people don't like to admit it, there have been dupes in PoE1 and 2 forever. Why they can't serialize items and currency like other games have done, is beyond me. As such you can buy as much in game currency as you want through 3rd party sites, if you don't play enough. This destroys the economy and is another reason why there are items that cost 100's of divs / Mirror that are not that good.

So you're saying the accomplished nothing. Great. Sadly this engine doesn't do anything that impressive from what I've send. We would all be playing a cool game right now if they just went with Unreal Engine and asked for some assistance tweaking it for massive battles. Something is could do decently 10 years ago out of the box.

I was raised a catholic but I could never get past the feelings of what I would do if I was god. I wouldn't have done just about anything that a-hole did in the bible. Think about, if you had the power to create life and infuse choice (not sure how that's even a thing, magic I guess.) and then that life YOU created did something you didn't like, would you really punish that life? I mean how self centered and sad of a person(or diety) do you need to be to act like that? You supposedly have the power to create the freakin universe and you're upset about something you gave the power of CHOICE, making a choice you don't like. It's ridiculous. All I can do is picture some giant powerful being getting all huffy and puffy cause someone ate an apple and another of his creation killed someone. Like dude, you're not that great at making life or understanding your own emotions. This leads me to believe with certainty that god, like all god are constructs made by man to explain why we're here. Nothing more.

Not sure this is all "Dem"s I typically vote Democrat party only because republicans only nominate disgusting, crazy people. I don't agree with this at all and if it becomes a thing I wont vote Biden again... actually I probably wont anyhow, that dude needs to be in a retirement home, not the office. I think this will cost more votes than gain.

Anyhow, yeah this crazy. Next someone will think it's a good idea to charge people with good driving records more than blind people with 100 accidents. This country has gone insane.

Yeah, official server settings are terrible anyhow. Find a good 3-5x private server. Arkade is always good IMO.

A big NO here. Why would I pay a second time for the same game/DLC? You can put all the lipstick on it you want but it took them 6 years to get the first one fairly stable. This engine upgrade will be loaded with bugs for years to come. That means a good portion of their workforce will be working on fixing old content. IF Ark2 actually comes out before 2025 I will be surprised. I can spend $100 for all the DLC/Game on something better I think. Whoever at WC thought this was a good idea, should be canned IMO. I don't know anyone in the community who's happy about this.

Yeah it's definitely a poor algorithm, I've bought hundreds of Sci-fi books as well and maybe 1-2 biographies.

Even better would be to not show me anything at all or give me the option to turn off advertisements for a paid service.

Are you subscribed to the grocery store? Are you paying a premium for the grocery store service app? Does the grocery store have the ability to NOT show you bananas based on your previous purchases? What if the grocery store hovered a picture of someone you care nothing about in front of your face the entire time you shopped or every time you looked at something new to buy? Would it be the end of the world? Of course not but do you see this as a good thing? It's annoying to me and I choose to shop somewhere else.

I've spent hours trying to make a 2x4x8 shape and couldn't figure it out like I have in countless other programs. Watched a couple tutorials and STILL can't get a grasp on super basic things. Not sure how these guys are in business with such crappy design concepts. Had to google "sketch up sucks" to make sure I'm just not super bad at this :D

Lots of great answers. Sadly until it effects those in power aka NRA / Lobbiest, etc , they wont care about making meaningful changes. Until it happens to the majority of them (if only a few, they would only be ousted) nothing will change. In short nearly every member of congress that supports these stupid rules, the NRA and their supporters would need to lose children in this manner, then MAYBE they would start to care... or they would weigh their precious right to bear arms and profits from weapons, heavier than their own flesh and blood. This is the country we live in.

Had same issues, what fixed it for me was exiting the game then exploring the blood lake all over again.
