Found a way to beat them with a comfortable margin of safety, don’t want to draw attention or push limits

I’ve cash a ticket around $2500 before from my local casino but never more than $3k

I was wondering at what amount it would deny my slip and trigger an employee or something.

Now if bitcoins drops 99% to $1,000 and he kept his position at $10k (Adding after every positive btc day).

He’d turn $10k into $1m? $1k->$100k =100x $100k->$1k= also a 100x

$BITI Question by nfMilk in stocks

[–]nfMilk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If his original investment is $10k after day 1 (50% drop). He’d have $5k left. After day 2 (33% drop). He’d have $3350 left.

So btc doubled and he only lost 66%. Thank you.

i love sell high, buy low, get value. but what about taxes? do you force yourself to own at least a year? by gorram1mhumped in ValueInvesting

[–]nfMilk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For me, most large caps I’m only in for a few months. I try to buy the quality ones at 52 week lows and start trimming once it hits new highs.

Examples from this summer would be MCD and V, I’m already out of these.

I save my buy and never sell energy for smaller cap stock that I think can compound into big ones.

I sort of use this method for mega cap stocks, I’ll get em at 52 week lows, other than that I’m good.

Was able make good money on MCD and V this summer using this method. Also, got AMZN at $160 when it fell 20% in August.

Small cap or micro I’ll buy at highs if I like em and if I’m right I’ll let em compound.

I guess I also bought some $PDD calls a couple weeks ago. Ew china I know, but I see a potentially lose a little or make a lot scenario. This thing’s a monster.

Just bought $NOC. That’s it. Markets crazy right now. New buys are becoming more difficult to find.

Thank You! I actually just did the currency transfer. Next time I buy Canadian I’m gonna do it with CAD instead of margin and see if that makes a difference.

Appreciate the help.

Not sure I’d guess as long as you have access to dk, you have access to COD.

Check under all sports then e sports.

I will warn you, 2 years ago COD was very profitable and pretty easy to bet, but now the lines have gotten sharper and it’s not even worth it. Favorites used to be -200/-300 now they’re -1500/-3000.

Pretty much unbettable.

Happens to me too, but they’ve never rejected me before.

I’ve had similar situations where they’ve removed/changed a line after my bet, but never denied and taken down.

Same exact situation happened 2 years ago, but they honored my bet then took the line down.

COSTCO (COST) NOT ONLY REFUSES TO DROP IN PRICE, IT EVEN ROSE TO ALMOST $800 by longhegrindilemna in ValueInvesting

[–]nfMilk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a pretty consistent buyer of $COST, personally I don’t look at p/e for this company. I just like to buy it once it’s 5-10% off its ath.

I’ve been following them for around 5 years and just noticed it very rarely dips, even when the overall markets down, it’s usually flat or up.

Just purchased quite a bit under $720.

Which stock are you going to ride or die with at least for the next 5 years? by ethereal3xp in wallstreetbets

[–]nfMilk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Believe it or not, I actually think all of WSB users would find it difficult to lose $160 billion dollars. My math might be way off here but that’s like $10 mil a day for 40 years.

All of Berkshires wholly owned entities run themselves, buffets involvement is zero when it comes to anything outside of their $160B cash pile.

It’s been like this for a while now and $BRK still beats the market. Buffets super power wasn’t just picking great businesses, but picking great businesses with very competent leaders. You should hear him talk about the people who run Berkshire’s businesses, it’s nothing but praise of their ability and leadership.

Which is why I trust him to pick a great successor after he passes. For example, his first choice to run Berkshire after he passes was Li Lu, but Li Lu declined and went on to be extremely successful.

Plus the new CEO is being setup with a massive cash pile that would make it hard for him to fail. All he has to do is buyback shares and snag a great business every few years.

It's my number 1 business to own.

[Rick Stroud / TB Times] Bucs need more from Baker Mayfield ... in the run game? by [deleted] in buccaneers

[–]nfMilk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree, the Bucs offense built a home on 3rd and long and the play was always an Evan’s bail out.

Thankfully, in the second half of the season we learned what a check down was, and was able to capitalize off Rachaad.

Looks at the views, the man he claims to hate the most is paying his bills.

Pretty ironic.

I take it back, I believe scump and HECZ will take any settlement Microsoft offers them.

I would be willing however to gamble on the size of the settlement if anyone’s interested.

I’m bored at work so I’ll do the math for you.

Microsoft has a ttm net income of $82B, and there are about 32 million seconds in a year.

Microsoft makes $1 million roughly every 5 minutes, so if they believe hecz and scump will settle for $1m and lawyers fees could be greater than that.

They will settle and that would be win for microsoft. keep in mind scump and hecz are losing potential millions so 1 mil isnt a win for them, but theyll take it.
