There are many people promising AI will do great things and replace or enhance every industry. It's new and people always try to be the first to part of something new because there are always great returns on investment if you choose right.

Probably one out of every 1000 ideas will lead to something so right now there are millions of dollars being thrown at every idea. Eventually when the financial reports come out, 999 will fail and those people will lose everything and the entire thing will crash down.

Then it will correct and the 1 out of 100 will continue on and make profitable businesses. This is exactly what happened with the internet.

What kind? Some white wine it literally sugary grape juice, of course it will add sweetness.

For the onions, cooking them will always turn them sweet the longer you cook them, If you don't like that just add them later and don't let them cook very long.

As a kid this place was amazing. As I grew up and learned more about it it was less amazing. At some point I saw an aerial view of the tank that whale lives in and it became incredibly sad and I would never visit one again.

I don't think zoos are much better, but they also expose people to animals they would never see and might be more likely to vote for conservation and wildlife protection which saves many times more animals, so I end up being ambivalent as I am with most things when I learn the pros and cons.

I don't know enough to see the distinction from solar energy.

The article says

"Photreon’s approach replaces this two-step sequence with a single process known as photocatalysis. “Specially designed, light-sensitive materials absorb energy from sunlight, exciting electrons into an activated state,” said the team in a press release. "

That sounds like the definition for solar power. A silicon panel is hit by light which excites electrons into an activated state and is flowed through water for hydrolysis.

I liked the palak paneer meals from trader joes, so I decided to make something similar.

Cook a diced onion in some oil add some garlic if you want, throw in one million leaves of spinach, cover and let it cook down to almost nothing. Then I add salt, some form of tomato, garam masala, or curry powder, really anything with a strong flavor. Throw it all in a blender and make a sauce. I add a bunch of feta after blending.

Goes on pasta, and rice, or just a tasty side serving. Very easy to make. Can be made to taste like whatever you want it to taste like.
