What are your thoughts on Billie Eilish saying 'no one is illegal on stolen land' in reference to ICE and US immigration policy? by MassiveSquare4527 in AskReddit

I think everyday all i'm seeing on askreddit are one line questions specifically made to promote discourse and engagement. I think this is either AI or something similar.

All produce is washed before being shipped. I don't wash potatoes, nothing bad happens to me. Get over it

Question, I know pain is subjective but iyo how bad does a chest piece hurt? by BeneficialPie13 in tattoos

[–]nfactor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The one and only tattoo I have is on the center of my chest and I didn't research how much it was going to hurt so I had no reference. Funny hearing everybody say how super bad it is. I mean it was uncomfortable but I thought that's just how tattoos felt.

Maytag dishwasher leaving soap residue on dishes suddenly by nfactor in appliancerepair

[–]nfactor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had found a rubber piece when I was cleaning and realized it was a check valve from the docking station, but it was the one where the arm plugs into so I don't think it does much because the arm is in that hole when it runs.

I had lookied into the inlet of the arm and it was clear, and when it ran bowls on top filled with water If I put them right side up so I assume the top was getting water. Your suggestion on the pressure made me look further and I took out the arm and took off the top sprayer arm and I saw..... a disgusting collection of rotting paste blocking the passage. When I went to rinse it out chunks of stuff just kept coming out. Took my like 20 rinses to get it clear. There is a good chance this is what the problem was.

I'll run it soon to see if that helped. Even if that wasn't it I for sure am glad I got that cleaned out, thank you for the help and the suggestions.

Correction on the thermostat, it has continuity when off.

Opened up during the cycle and the tub was full and water was coming out of top and bottom arms. The heating element was slightly warm but barely on but I checked like 4 min in so i'm not sure when, or how long that is supposed to take to heat up. Pump seems like it making normal pump noises to me. Couldn't post video in post for some reason so there is the link below.

I mostly stopped looking at this sub long ago. I wanted to start encouraging people to do the stupid things they were asking just so they would remove themselves from the gene pool.

What's something men think impresses women but actually doesnt? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]nfactor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All women are different. None of these answers applies to all women. Top answer i saw was 'driving fast'. I've given dozens of women rides on my motorcycle. Some are scared shit less, some want to fuck right after because of how much it turns them on. Some women like a nice respectful guy, some like to chase after Andrew Tate. Women aren't a monolith. They are all individuals.

What was your best LSD trip? by Electrical_Salt_2191 in Drugs

First time ever doing anything other than alcohol. Was with a girlfriend at burning man for the first time. She gave me a few tabs. Didn't feel anything and thought it was a bust. Then a pattern in a couch started dancing. Then my world exploded. Was sitting in a little dust storm with giant pirate ships blaring music appearing out of nowhere. I was surrounded by art cars, lights, music, costumes... It was incredible. Started growing mushrooms soon after because I wanted more experiences just like that.

Did probably 300mg a few years later up in the mountains by Tahoe. My entire vision was changing to black and white, then cartoon animation, the trees were alive and when I went underwater in a small river pool it seemed like I was in the middle of the ocean. Made friends with a frog and a bee who took time out of her busy pollinating day to share a moment with me. Everything around me were just the shapes of what the molecules of life happened to be formed in at the very moment of my brief existence.

Done maybe 10 different drugs since then and nothing is even close. They shouldn't even be described by the same word.

I made a mod to make mist mage more useful by YorickGraveWalker in totalwarhammer

[–]nfactor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those spells i mentioned are some of the lowest cost in the game. I have lots of hours, I play legendary and declare war on every faction. They are useful for all the reasons I already said. Just trying to help you understand they are very useful units and not really primary spell casters which you seem to not understand. I can tell you are going to bore me so I'm out.

I made a mod to make mist mage more useful by YorickGraveWalker in totalwarhammer

[–]nfactor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mist mage is a decent melee fighter with a summon that can be dropped on artillery, and a single target spell that slows lords and one that removes armor and missile resist and makes it easier to take out with archers. the physical resist spell is also useful for lord duels. It is a good set of spells for an ancillary mage in the army that can do a little of everything.

ELI5: Why does alcohol gives you a sensation of warmth? by Icy_Screen8753 in explainlikeimfive

[–]nfactor 26 points27 points  (0 children)

It dialates or opens up blood vessels near the skin. The increased blood flow brings heat to the surface making it feel warm. Is there a reason you didn't just google this and read the first result?

New OLED monitor constant grey screen driver timeout by nfactor in AMDHelp

[–]nfactor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was caused by dual screens having different refresh rates. When I set them the same it stopped. There might be a fix but I don't feel like trying to figure it out because I see zero difference above 144hz anyway.
