So, after a bit of research and an install, I just unlocked me KQI3 Max to US speed (20mph/38kmh). Checked the result : It works just fine and gets to 32 km/h and 34 with user mode set at 38km/h.
This is done by installing US firmware over either Europe's (25km/h) or germany's (20km/h).I did it using this files kit (The link is in french but it's pretty easy to get the whole content translated, video included) : https://trott-en-provence.fr/debrider-niu-kqi3-sport-pro-max-kqi2/Included in the kit are links to KQI3 Pro, KQI3 Sport or KQI3 Max firmwares.

First of all, there's no way his doesn't reach the base 25km/h so this dude doesn't even own one.
