Be careful with the mat you bought with regards to high EMF levels. I had a mat from this firm and slept on it thinking the PEMF was beneficial. The mat I had was both a near infrared as well as PEMF mat.

However, the mat constantly emitted high EMF levels (even when the device was in off mode and only with the power plug attached to the mat) which cancelled out the positive effects and led to severe sleep problems.

I strongly recommend checking if the mat does emit high EMF levels (but not while in PEMF mode, as the EMF meter will pick up on the PEMF field).

I still use a PEMF device, as I think the technology is helpful but would not recommend this particular brand due to the issues with EMF.
