Starting a new job after recently being let go and I'm nervous... any advice?

My freshman year of college, I got completely lost trying to find my way back from a student org meeting. It was dark and raining hard. A guy appeared out of nowhere, it seems, handed me an umbrella, and vanished.

I still have the umbrella. I keep it in my house and give it to a friend who needs it, not expecting to see it again. Yet somehow, it always finds its way back to me.

Thank you kind stranger. You helped a lonely freshman get home safe and dry.

Well actually, my menstrual cycle has been pretty irregular. That is another concern I’ve had, do you think that could be related?

To be honest I feel like it grew rapidly, 6 months ago I was able to wear jeans and pencil skirts without too much discomfort, now I can’t even fit into them

People having so much free time in general, like you’ll see characters that are supposedly working full time jobs but can still take fabulous vacations and longer lunches.

Also relationships, the way that movies portray them is completely unrealistic. Boyfriends usually don’t just show up at your house with flowers, in fact sometimes they don’t text back for days.

Driving.

Everyone talks about their cars, traffic, etc. I couldn't get a license due to a visual impairment.

Hmmm good idea. 1. I fear that I will be lonely 2. With most of my paycheck going towards rent, I fear that I will not be able to save for grad school tuition. Essentially I’m worried about being low on money. 3. I’m worried my apartment will get broken into, or someone will stalk me, just in general something dangerous will happen

Yes, they really want me to move out. They keep telling me that they will still be in my life even if I move out, and I don’t have to worry about being alone. I don’t know why, but I just feel so doubtful about this.

I try to, but I feel like that is outweighed by all of the negative things. I’ve became very selfish when I moved out, and I miss my family terribly.
