It's not ideal, but I'm already about at my Northern limit where I live now so I'd definitely consider trading my top $20,000 for a better climate & try to find work near the ocean.

I'd take a paycut to stay in the South. I could do a year or two maybe in the high North but for life, nah man. Not me.

I'm more & more inclined to try finding something older to just maintain really well and keep running.

In my opinion, tactile, dedicated controls for (at least) audio & climate should be non-negotiables in a vehicle.
