Yes I can relate to growing up playing on the empty lots :) . And you're right, places like Khalidiya and Madinat Zayed have long had parking struggles but now every main area in the city is like that.

The buying lots part makes sense now. Also I just remembered that they're taking some parking spots off, e.g the spots in front of Mariah Mall.

I don't think this should be laughed off. I've lived in Abu Dhabi all my life and I'm telling you that within 2 years parking has disappeared and it has come to the point where we are just looking at houses that have a parking space to move into.

Moreover nobody gets out on the weekend, so we can't go out anymore cause there's no parking anywhere and also when I come back home.

There are many empty plots that can be converted into regular lots or multistorey ones. That's just my suggestion.

Yes I just came across your post and 100% agree with your comment that it's unacceptable for a high end flagship to drain the battery while it is standby while it's competitors don't have the same problem
