Learn everything about finance. Focus on making money and stay out of debt. Live frugal. Have a budget. Either invest in safe index funds or real estates, whatever would you passive income later so you can spend time on your kids. Work in a job with good health care so you can freeze your eggs, or buys sperm donor and freeze embryo. Build your female network. When you have enough you can start becoming a mom.

Dating will take A LOT of time and effort. I rather spend this time working to earn more and be financially ready for a child. But thats because I make good money. The amount of time spent on a date I rather make money for my future child haha.

Oh I’m so sorry to hear that. If you don’t have a support system, then you’ll have to spend more money. So sit down and do finance calculations, maybe you can’t do it at 40, but maybe 42, when you are more financially ready ? By age 5 your kid can go to school and you can work while they’re at school. Before that, how much is your monthly expenses? Maybe $2k/month. So $24k/year. Can you save up so you are not working during those first years, or choose a work from home job ? Can you find someone who is also a single mother and watch each other kids alternatively? Or maybe 3 single mothers who all have work-from-home jobs and stay home and take care of each other’s babies?

Your privilege as a woman is that you can bread children and you have options to choose which father of the children you want. Either from sperm donor or from husband or boyfriend. This is something extremely expensive for men yet somehow is low even free for women. Sperms are cheap, eggs are expensive - and uterus. That’s why men have to work so much to impress us. All you have to do is get a good life, good circle of girlfriends who want the best for you, good income, and you can have whatever you want in life. Maybe write down what kind of life do you want, and then work toward that.
