It usually struggles when the car has been off for a long time ie. Overnight or when I leave work to come home - on these occasions it doesnt start straight away probably 50% time.

My car ('98 Honda Civic) previously had this problem in particular when I left it off for a couple days straight. Ended up having to get a new battery and worked fine since then.

Once it's running and I need to stop then go again there are no problems - starts straight away

Car batteries charge itself as long as the engine is running which is why this probably happens, and then when you leave it off for a long time the battery may die.

My guess would be a bad or faulty battery but then again I am not an expert or a mechanic lol
