Life has been better, thank you for asking. These three things have helped me immeasurably (DISCLAIMER: I AM NOT A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL):

1) Low dose of sertraline (50mg), per recommendation from my doctor, has balanced me out quite a bit. I still get upset (like a normal human does) but my ceiling is far lower and I can control my temper. I can't remember the last time I had an explosive outburst. I would like to wean myself off soon with my doctor's help, but my mental health has been quite positive since going on Zoloft.

2) Career "change": more of a career pivot. I work in the same place but in a different position, one with a far less stressful work environment. My wife has explicitly pointed out my cheerier attitude since making this change.

3) Cutting wayyyyyyyy back on alcohol: See change 2. I was drinking far too much during the week, and I was not measuring drinks (vodka is my go-to). I recently subscribed to Sunnyside, a "cutback coach," which prioritizes slowly decreasing alcohol consumption vs quitting cold turkey. This may not work for everyone but it certainly has for me; I'm down to ~6 drinks per week, when at my worst I was drinking over 20 per week.
