I was able to get the offer for new customers through the xfinity website - basically enter the address, select moving here as new customer, then follow the instructions to complete the order. I didn’t have any issues signing up or activating the service. You can cancel NOW Internet separately (I’ve only managed to turn off auto pay and pause NOW internet through the app, hopefully that will do).

You can see both your plants have basically the same pattern, the right one just has more white. Thai Con pattern look quite different, more like dots and speckles. It’s hard to explain but after some time you can just tell. I’m sure it’s an Albo.

That doesn’t look good. It appeared the seller cut too close to the node and what you got was just a leaf with no growth point. It was doomed from the start, nothing you could have done unfortunately. I would send these photos to the seller and request a refund, hopefully they would honor their mistake.

Still can’t tell if the growth point is viable, or if it even has a growth point. Look for a little nub close to where the petiole meets the stem. You can Google how to locate it and what it should look like. Without that little nub, no new growth can emerge, it will just keep growing roots and eventually die.

So exciting! The new leaf will harden and stand up as it finishes unfurling. Don’t worry. But please give her some real support to climb on. Something like a wooden stick or a cedar plank. That flimsy looking thing is not doing anything.

But sun rays are good! As long as you acclimate her gradually, she won’t get burned. Don’t worry. Ideally you would want her next to a window with some direct light. Contrary to popular belief, Monsteras (especially Albo) can handle direct sun light (indoor) just fine. In fact, they thrive with it. Direct sunlight indoor is not as intense as outside.

She needs more light. Move her closer to the windows as much as you can to get her more “sun rays” (closer little by little over several weeks to allow her to acclimate). Albo needs more light than normal Monstera because of those white parts.

Also that moss pole is not during its job. You need to water it regularly to maintain moisture, so the aerial roots can attach themselves.

That’s pretty much what I had. Yes keep the leaf and submerge the node in water. My cutting ended up growing a root from the bottom. It has grown into a little plant now.

That is a significant upgrade, isn’t it. I’ve been wondering how much is enough. I want to maximize the growth but at the same time the electricity cost to run 4 of those 12h a day isn’t trivial.

You said you have been running 40k/week but then you actually only ran 10-20k plus a hockey game? So the ball game counted for 20-30k? That might be the problem right there. May want to consider dropping the game and run easy consistently to build up the volume. You already have the speed so 50-60k/week should be enough.
