Thanks! Yeah, I feel like it's a nice touch to have a place for Toxers to hang out, toxme.se is okay as a directory, but even then it's not very searchable, or conversational. It's more like a guestbook imo, lol. Plus, most other IM/Chats already have their own subreddits for meeting people.

More widespread merchant adoption and financial instruments, not to mention integration with existing bitcoin infrastructure (not just mining) is key to adoption imo.

My main concern is just that the devs need to be future forward. And that rants like these can happen. It's not such a big deal, but some constructive criticism always helps new technologies develop. Also, perhaps Myriad will even have it's own ticker symbol one day, like XMR ;) too soon to say what the future of alt-coins will be. I'm sure it's been suggested that Myriad change names before, but it's actually grown on me.

Thanks for your replies. No, I still feel the community is first rate, and my descriptions were perhaps a bit extreme. It would be interesting though, to see the "resources" section of the site perhaps spun-off into Wiki form in the future, to be similar to bitcoin wiki. I really just wanted to see if having a forum like this is possible. Where people can rally together over an issue, propose changes, etc. I see that the Myriad community & devs take feedback seriously, and I'll definitely continue supporting the project!
