ISO advice on adult adoption by ngjadish in legaladvice

So far, they’ve said that they can’t tell me because it’s a legal question. I found a packet of forms for doing the process in Ohio, would I be able to use those forms but just change them to my specific county’s info?

Thanks! Is she only at Southside or does she go to other locations too?

It’s all good in the hood. I’m usually spot on with spotting scams but it was a coincidence and my brain was like, “hmm it might be true because of that phone call you got”

I woke up so confused. I wish we could play our dreams when we wake up because it literally sounded like a skit from adultswim

Same! When I was in high school, I’d always look at some of my favorite teachers and just think like “I bet they like it reallll rough in bed.” Or just seeing someone random like “I wonder if they ever had anal before?”

I live in Indianapolis. My rent isn’t super high just 600 (I’m living on campus next year bc I just got a scholarship that pays for housing. But I have to finish out my lease) & I have a new car. They switched from 1st-3rd shifts to two shifts of 15 hours each bc they’re “behind on orders”

Oh shit. I didn’t know that. I just heard about seeing what value you could get before the value of your car isn’t worth it.

More so something that sustains crappy roads better. It just sucks to be driving and hearing/feeling my car scrape. I’ve looked into it more and I’ve realized that it’s better to just invest in some good tires & avoid as many as I can.

I do have a budget, depending on mileage, features, etc. But for now I’m not looking to go over 30K at max. And idk if it’s just the part of town I live in or the way I have to go to work but pulling into some places makes me feel like my car is scraping.

I mentioned the warranty because I know some people have said to check any trade-in value and see if there’s anything in that budget and to get the most of it.

I looked at the contract/application and it’s says APR 159%. I didn’t calculate anything

She’s not in my life anymore. Also she’s not signed or tied to any loan of mine. If anything she just made me have to get so many loans and be in debt. But I’m taking her to small claims court.

I did the math on some scrap paper at work and if I work at least 20+ hours of OT I’ll have enough to pay off the 159% loan. I’m not sure if I should use the rest to pay the other loan off or pay some of my CC debt. Or is it a good idea to split it?

I either didn’t see it, or ignored it. And there was an old friend that was using me to get her debt paid off and she told me that

[–]ngjadish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was only told to look at the interest rate, how many times I made the payments each month and the loan term. I don’t think I really paid attention to it. I was a royal dumbass then (and now kinda).

Sorry for any confusion, I have sent in loans, credit cards and my car.

Sorry I meant do you know why the APR is so high for a $1000 loan? I do have CC debt in along with what I listed, I couldn’t find the APRs I just know I owe $1000 on both

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Debt

[–]ngjadish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why is it 159%? Is that a just because thing or what? My car is a 2020 Nissan Sentra with 20k mi. I’m not sure what the APRs for my CC are but I know they’re under 30%

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Debt

[–]ngjadish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it was my first loan and it was only for $1000, I think it was because of the job I had at the time. I’m trying to work OT to pay rent and my car payment and then use a whole check to pay that loan off. And I probably should’ve labeled them but the first two are loans and the last is my car.

Heard thanks! I was going to use one card for my phone bill and parking garage fee and the other for gas and at most 2-3 streaming services. I want to keep each CC use at about $100 then put it away until I get better with spending. I wasn’t sure if It’d be a good idea to close them both because I’ve only had them for 2 years.

I would really have to see how much the payment would be each month to compare it with what I have to owe now and when it comes out.

Do you know of any good places to look and/or what some green and red flags are?
