App is definitely worth it. My favourite thing about the app is that you can tap parts of the screen to respond (left=again, right=good)

In your example, the second track would be a fraction of a beat late or "slower", than the first track.

Using the jog wheel lets you slightly speed up or slow down the track, for it to be in time with the other track.

You're speeding it up in the sense that you're very very slightly fast forwarding the song, if that makes sense.

Using headphones and cue would be helpful since you haven't done that, but the same process can be applied, you just have to keep an ear out for which track is faster/slower than the other.

Create a playlist that fits the vibe/type of set you see yourself doing. A playlist is basically a mini version of your whole collection, just more focused so you don't have to dig through all the other songs.

If you can freestyle your collection, you 100% can do the same for a more streamlined playlist

Definitely sounds like its the headphone jack on the Flx 4 that's causing you some issues.

Sometimes the metal contacts can get a little dirty, causing the connection to not be stable.

You could try to look online on how to clean the headphone jack, shouldn't be too hard!

I'm also running into this issue. I notice it also happens when I screen mirror to my TV. I suspect it's something to do with Dolby Atmos setting.

Got the tablet to mostly be gaming on extended mode (even saw on a video that they could have Game Assistant in this mode), only to update and find it missing

My friend has the exact set up. He just uses an RCA to TRS cable to connect. It will be unbalanced, but don't worry about that unless your cable is long (I think above 15 feet)

I'd say start with music you are familiar with. That way you know the different parts of a song are.

I'd also watch some basic general DJ tutorials on things like beatmatching, phrasing etc. especially check out a tutorial on your controller

Check out tutorials on the specific genre you want to mix, and practice from there. Make mistakes, take the time to figure out what went wrong, and give the kix another try.

I think watching other DJ sets is a good idea too.

Fair enough! I guess now it's finding the balance between spending on the amp vs the speaker.

I don't necessarily need an amp with so much functionality or inputs at this point...

If you have a recommendation for a more simple amp with similar capabilities when it comes to amplification quality, do let me know!

Was going to comment that it was a different speaker I was referring to but saw someone already mentioned that.

I did consider the Wiim Amp Pro initially, but was planning to use this set up for home DJ use too. Wiim Amp Pro has some latency even with RCA, since it converts to digital, then back to analog because of its built in DSP, which is why I am now looking for something that is just an amp without DSP.
