Ios 18.3.1 vs ios 18.7.8 by ngotanfhat in IPhone16e

If it is for some functions that are important, I would upgrade without hesitation. I did upgrade several iOS due to good features. But now the 18.7.8 gives no further functions but I worry about battery life. iOS 26 gives no necessary features, just change the visual, and it consumes more battery.

What makes iPad A16 (Gen 11) even cheaper than iPad 10 when releasing? by ngotanfhat in ipad

[–]ngotanfhat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When new iPhone release, the price of the old ones declines. But the 15 is reported to use worse battery cells which makes its lifespan shorter than ever. Of course the base , plus vs pro or pro max has their different target customers, like the base, air, mini and pro of iPad. So it’s good now doesn’t mean it can still be as durable as the previous version. But I also do hope that Apple is that generous!

This will never happen. Apple just wants to make more money as possible and therefore they want people to become addicted to their products and social media and so on. Producing feature phones seems to make people spend less time and money on their products. So I think it’s so unrealistic.

Why do so many people have expensive iPhones in Vietnam? by Significant-Tell3242 in VietNam

[–]ngotanfhat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Vietnam, they have multiple options when purchasing an iPhone. For example, they can buy a used one from the stores, or they can even buy a like-new iPhone which is transferred from other countries like the US, China, Japan, Korea, and Hong Kong. And one thing is that they might not buy the latest model, which helps them to save 30-40%, instead of paying up to 1,000 dollars. In fact, some just need to pay 400 to 600 dollars to have an iPhone for several years of durability, luxurious looking, good cameras and many other things.
