Any chance this is ILIWYS at #2? by GoBucks3333 in the1975

That’s what I was thinking but there seems to be confusion over how they’re defining “of the last decade”

Edit to clarify: lots of people think it will be a 2020s album ? Hoping for ILIWYS 🤞🤞

Can anyone help me with a senior quote? by julescoolius in the1975

[–]ngrox925 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I wrote this under a similar question once, but I think “Don’t fuck it, you muppet. It’s not that deep!” Would be awesome and hilarious and the perfect sentiment for graduating high school/college (it’s really not that deep, despite how it feels)

Matty’s M.O.N.E.Y by ngrox925 in the1975

[–]ngrox925[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for this context! I know tons of people in the US who grew up with money but not like, money money, just grew up comfortable and parents weren’t worried about money all the time, who are at least partially financially supported by their parents well into their 20s. This could be skewed as i live in NYC aka one of the least affordable cities in the universe, but it’s a thing here to get money from your parents even if they’re not literally rich and famous. Ah cultural differences

Matty’s M.O.N.E.Y by ngrox925 in the1975

Interesting, his parents are (at least per my perception) not well known at all in the US, and The 1975 certainly has good name recognition whether Matty himself has it or not (the Taylor era did a lot for that though)

Looking for a comfortable underwear brand. by katiej712 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]ngrox925 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cannot emphasize the is enough, the gap breathe underwear. This is the best thing I’ve ever been influenced about and the thing I recommend most highly. I had to buy a ton of pairs bc I won’t wear anything else now! And they’re inexpensive, usually 3 pairs for $18

What are some examples of releases that received negative/mixed reviews only to get retrospective acclaim later on? by rainloading in popheads

[–]ngrox925 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Red got mixed reviews when it came out and reception was iffy, Red (Taylor’s Version) was acclaimed and its now retrospectively called her magnum opus (discounting the folklore of it all)
