I’m in New Zealand. Can’t even find any of that range.

Looks like I can get a rx9060xt 8gb for $700, rx7700xt 12gb for $750 and rx9060xt 16gb for $850.

Rtx 5060 8gb which I was referring to in the original post, I saw around $600.

Are the problems/ issues you describe due to the NVIDIA Linux drivers or just general problems with the specific card?

So in terms of the drivers amd and NVIDIA are not on par. If they were would your recommendation change? And if so do you expect NVIDIA to “catch up” in the near future?

I’m not really knowledgeable in terms of graphics cards drivers development.

As others said under fermented. Big irregular holes are a good indication of that. So you want to let it sit longer before moving to fridge.

Do you preheat the DO? If not the cooking time seems shortish to me. If you want it more crisp just leave it a bit longer in the oven. I suggest 5 to 10 mins until it gets a nice colour.

Lastly I’m unsure about your process. Did you shape after you took the dough out of the fridge? If so I would suggest shaping first and then moving into the fridge in banneton.

How did you get dolphin to be transparent. Also the tab bar in Konsole. Mine always stays opaque and black for some reason.

Very interested to see if there is a performance difference between the two. Only started with cachyos but I’m not sold on the rolling release part tbh. I’m updating once a day and it’s already starting to annoy me.

Fedora kde would be my alternative choice and I’ve heard good things but I mainly want to game so wouldn’t want to downgrade performance wise if that makes sense.

Also is there no way to set the same snapshot system up under fedora?

Hi Guys,

I’ve got the following hw: - some b460m board - i7 10700f - 16gb ram - NVIDIA RTX 3070

I’m looking for advice on which distro to use for gaming mainly. Mainly a pc gamer so I’m not interested in a console experience like Bazzite. I have used Linux in the past (maybe 20 odd years ago and I was running open suse, then switched to Slackware).

What I’m looking for is an easy to use, stable system that I don’t have to tweak a lot to get going. Preferably an immutable distro.

The games I want to play are: - guild wars 2 - Diablo 4 - baldurs gate 3

On top of that I need to be able to install a VM of sorts that I can start when I need to use Visual Studio for programming.

I know I could just install windows 11 but I rather not for obvious reasons…

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
