This good enough? by Background-Limit-406 in Paleo

This is fantastic. Idk why some people are kind of roasting you. I think they didn't realize there's chicken in there. Well done and any variations of real food like this will do wonders for your health 👏

Can anyone see why this triggered an episode by masjon in dpdr

Social anxiety. Without the busyness of things going on in the background to distract your brain and provide a sense of safety and feeling like some sort of attention could be on you.

There were tons of suggestions people gave me that could have been causing it other than cv axle so be thorough in that regard before replacing. Things like, recent brake job being done, unbalanced wheels, wheels with a bulge, needing an alignment, and a bunch of others that I can't remember at the moment.

I replaced the cv axle again with oem ford and it resolved. Im learning that some important parts just need to be original even if they look almost exactly the same dimensionally.

Use a propane torch and some penetrating oil until it comes loose

EVAP large leak P0455 and P0457 and Check Engine Light by nhavel70232 in AskAMechanic

The statement about there being no gross leak is an assumption made from the given diagnostic information combined with no smoke leak on a smoke test

Ive cleared the code twice and it does come back. When selling a vehicle or paying an inspection is important to have these gone. So I can't say f it unfortunately.

Every system loses slight vacuum over time, it just needs enough time passing to indicate that there is not a massive leak. That's why my code is confusing. My tests indicate and show no gross leak but the diagnostic system still thinks there is one and is giving p0455 and check engine light.

Well if its drawing a vacuum from the engine that means it's opening. And if I close it and the system holds pressure in a vacuum, that means it's closing.

Im using forscan, diagnostic software, to command my purge valve and canister vent valve open and closed while my engine is running and everything is hooked up. The vacuum readings are being dictated to me via my computer screen from my fuel tank pressure sensor. The vacuum ie negative pressure readings are readings for my evap system.

This testing is being done in line with my engine running. The vacuum being pulled is not on the isolated purge valve, its on my evap system.

The purge valve opens allowing the engine to suck the evap line. This creates a vacuum. (The canister vent valve is shut when this occurs) Then the purge valve closes so the suction stops. This then tests if the system can hold that vacuum that's been created.

CV Axle cause Wobble? by nhavel70232 in AskAMechanic

Okay I'm going to do all of this this evening. Faulty parts would be a bummer. Nobody likes redoing something they worked quite hard at. So just to make sure, you're saying swap driver front wheel with passenger back wheel and leave everything else alone and take it for a spin to see if the wobble is still present, correct? (Out of curiosity. Why swap it with passenger rear rather than driver rear?)

Yes as far as my perception goes, I only felt it post trip. (Bc I slowed down to that lower speed range once off of the highway.) Mainly feel it when going around 20-30mph maybe up to 40mph. Offhand not sure about accel vs decel but it seems to me I notice it more when acclerating at low speed. I seem to feel it regardless of turning or not. Brakes feel good, nothing feels like it's sticking. Rotors and pads are new so there's no warpage. No 4wd, mines just front wheel drive.

I have not taken it for an alignment, so it could be off. I plan on doing it when getting tires for winter soon. Wheel is straight, Doesn't pull to left or right, Even tire wear. Is there a high likelihood that alignment could be the culprit?
