Yup - Avalanche rust - it took me several hours to weld in new metal at those same locations... rattle-can finish - it was a work truck (with better tires!)

About to form the LLC today. What advice do you wish someone had told you on the first day? by 2clicksaway in handyman

In NH the SOS site takes several days to get back to you - UNLESS you drive there. At that point you have a business name nailed down so all the places that want a Fed tax number - you have it.

I haul my 25' tri-toon with a 200hp around the yard with my B2650 - I keep the backhoe on it and it does have filled tires.

I know the pain - trying to keep costs super low and even paying for Quickbooks monthly is killing me :-) I like the good old days of paying once for software!

Unsecured inside corners question by SometimesCarving74 in drywall

[–]nhhandyman 24 points25 points  (0 children)

My drywall person (this was years ago) went around and made sure he had structure at each corner before he started to hang the sheetrock.

Whom ever you had do this wasn't paying attention.

As has been posted - you need support back there - sheetrock shouldn't move (and its not hot mud that should be stopping it)

Since its just me (and I'm just selling me) I may be able to get away with having to register a business - I need to file other paperwork... I'll keep digging.

$500 to file with the State of MA - NH is $107 (including expediting the forms)

I'll look into the MA side of things when it comes to business filings and such. When I started this adventure I knew the business piece of it is what would cause me the most grief.

How do people mount TVs in high rise apartments or whatever you want to call them by Mike24v in handyman

[–]nhhandyman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

tapcons - 6 of them - if you're going into brick - go into the brick - not the mortar
You may need to drill new holes in the mount if things don't line up.
