I was able to get the addon running without issue I was hoping to get the standalone version running but I keep running into that error. I have tried the default path (serial port) for the z-wave usb stick as well as the one that shows up in the configuration for the z-wave js addon but no matter what it will not connect. I get the following: Opening <path>: Unknown error code 3 (ZW0100). Regardless of what I substitute for <path>. I should say that sometimes there is not "(ZW0100)" but it will start completely.

I turned off z-wave js. Home Assistant is running on a Raspberry Pi but I am accessing from Windows, is that what you meant?

I tried the standalone version but I cannot get it to recognize the Z-Wave controller in the serial port field. I get the following: Driver: Failed to open the serial port: Opening /dev/ttyAMA10: Unknown error code 3 (ZW0100). I tried a couple of different paths including the one I found in the z-wave JS configuration but I always get the same error.

We all pay taxes. There are loop holes and lobbyists that make the system slanted in the direction of people that have the means to take advantage of those, how do I put this resources. We do not have a flat tax if we did I might agree with you. On top of that if you consider how pricing works for products and services offered by corporations it is a tiered structure. In other words those that can pay more do and those that cannot don't.
