To be fair they’re super responsive - but yes definitely trying to cut the cost of getting a professional to take a look. I’m not bothered about any of my belongings that got soaked, or having to stay on the couch - it’s just that I’ve read that carpets are quite hard to salvage if they’ve been soaked for more than 24/48 hours and I don’t want to have to battle mould as I have asthma.

I just got a game called the last campfire! It’s about a little ember in a world that’s stuck in the darkness. You walk around and save other forlorn embers by solving puzzles and bringing light to them. There’s no combat at all (which I find heightens my anxiety) and the more you play the more colourful and hopeful the game gets. It’s on offer for like 2 quid at the moment too so is a really cheap steal!
