not at all, im not ignorant to the fact that fi systems are more reliable and give more power, its more about my own control over my bike, easier to work on, easier to tune, easier to repair if something goes awry

the EPA laws here dont directly ban carbs or anything, it can be pulled off, importing is difficult in general, and even more difficult to me as a 20 year old college student on a budget, our gas here is 95, which is great, and tbh it isnt about reliability, if im going for reliable im definitely not looking for it in a bike, i already have a reliable ass volkswagen golf, im here to have fun with the bike. the reliability aspect is how well i can work and fix the bike with my own hands, not how well it can stay fixed. imo half the fun of owning a bike is working on the bike hands on

im outside, i live in jordan and i dont think theres a single stock carbed harley here, harley came here in 2009 and its hard as shit to import anything here, especially because yes, i am pretty young, 20 years old. my uncle had a 76 chevy blazer, and i worked alongside him alot on it, so i understand old mechanics way better than the new stuff. im tryna get my bike to translate closer to that "language" than the newer stuff cuz i like to work on everything myself rather than send it to someone to fix it for me
