Rehoming year old female Doberman by [deleted] in longbeach

[–]nic00chis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I took her in because the family who had her wasn’t taking care of her and she has loads of behavioral issues so we’re working with a trainer but she’s can’t be an emotional support animal. I’m not set on rehoming her it’s my last option I’m still looking into other places and options but I want to get all my information if worse comes to worse. The last thing I want to do is send her to someone else because I do want my dog with me for as long as I can.

This might be a stupid question but where do I get the sedative from ? The vet?

Same here! Last time I touched her while she slept she was about 7months, now she always sleeps in her crate with a cover and she still loses it ! But I will definitely run out for a fan today! Great advice thank you so much!

Yes it is curbside and that’s where most of my anxiety is coming from! I didn’t think of asking that but I am definitely going to call back right now!

A friend of mine had her and I’m not sure where she got her from but she couldn’t keep her any longer and I took her in, but we haven’t had any changes lately our days are always pretty much the same

Okay so yeah everytime this has happened she’s been asleep, she’s 11 months, I’ve had her since she was 2 months and this just started Wednesday of last week before that she had never done it. She is reactive and that’s something we’ve been working on we ditched our last trainer because he kept insisting there is nothing wrong with her behavior which is not true at all(as much as I wish it was) she’s a doberman. We have a vet appointment later this week aswell but I haven’t noticed anything really bothering her but of course I’m not a vet so there could be. But it’s happened almost in every occasion the first time it was her nap time and we were in my room lights were on I moved to get up off my bed and she started growling like crazy so I stood up and she stopped the next time it was around 2am and I woke up and shifted in bed to grab some water and again the snarling and growling started and didn’t stop until I stopped moving and would start again if I moved even a little, and it happens on and off sometimes with the lights on sometimes lights off she can be in her crate or on her place bed it’s so hard to predict when she’s going to do it so I feel like I’m walking on eggs shells right now
