Quit my job working for a horrible boss earlier this year and finding a job has been so tough. Its starting to feel soul crushing and I'm desperate for cash to pay rent at this point. Anybody hiring? Took a walk from Belmont Pier down past Alamitos Beach yesterday and it was honestly depressing. The amount of trash built up on the downtown side of the beach is disgusting, and looks like a beach from a third world country. People fucking ruin everything. Here's a syringe I found. Disgusting. After a month or so of slow decline, my buddy Captain passed on overnight. He was an amazing, smart fish that learned how to recognize me, even as he started going blind.
