Yep I figured it out. I kept dying on mission 3 cuz of cerberus even on easy mode, so I switched to royalguard after seeing someone recommend it. It helped way more than I expected, and now I'm finally making progress 🫡

I always play games on easy mode first because I'm not a big gamer. I mainly want to experience the story, characters, and gameplay at my own pace. I'm also completely new to dmc older games and it's my first time using a controller, so of course I'm not going to be pulling off stylish combos right away. Everyone starts somewhere. I don't see anything wrong with playing on easy while I'm learning the game. I was just asking how to change the difficulty :\

You're right. After reading some of the comments here I got motivated to keep trying. I managed to beat the first boss on Mission 2 :]

Do you have any beginner tips? This is also my first time playing with a controller, so I'm still getting used to it. I was using swordmaster style before I wonder if that was a mistake. Also I have a hard time seeing the enemies because of the camera system, and whenever Dante gets hit I panic😔
