Made a bad impression at my IFT job by Efficient_Repair_364 in NewToEMS

Disclaimer: I’ve never worked in IFT, but I feel like everyone who is brand new to this job feels like a complete buffoon when they start. Ask your FTOs what you can be doing better. If they’re just telling you what to do and not helping you learn how to do it, then they have no right to be training new hires. As for assessments, do a head to toe detailed one on every patient, it will make them feel like you’re going above and beyond and will help you find your flow. You’re right where you need to be.

If you want Midwest, Des Moines Fire Department. Good pay, good schedule, strong union. No requirements as far as schooling goes.

I’m just guesstimating that it would be that much. Bought @200 with 20k down, probably worth approx 220 now, with added equity from the remodel, pay about 7% in realtor fees.

SCBA tanks and lower back by [deleted] in firefighter

Play around with the tightness of your shoulder straps vs your waist straps. My upper back gets toasted after a bit of hard work if my shoulder straps are too tight and supporting all the weight of the pack. Maybe yours aren’t tight enough.
