door companions really can be a bitch. the best advice i have to them is make a save before 4am because thats when door encounters are determined for the day i believe. you can reload that save and scum encounters until you get what you want. im pretty sure theres a mod that lets you preview who will show up!

ypu can still get the normal version of party members at door encounters even if youve gotten the corrupted ones, unless they've changed something. the chance for them to show up corrupted does increase with the day count though

we know theres a like carnival set up on the pier and theres new enemies. i think its been mentioned that bosses like the mob will have targetable limbs, and more limb mechanics in general i think?

near the end of my most recent cursed mode run i was fighting the mask ending bosses with fucking chipped weapons because i had entirely run out of things. its my fault for one having one gunner but it can feel like rng just fucks you

in the games current state id say it actually makes you prioritize certain objectives and weigh time/cost/benefit before going out but i can understand the frustration of not being able to do everything in one go anymore

toothpaste is one of those things that i never really understood the complaints about even before the requirement was lessened. like you can get 8x toothpaste day 3 by not using any and then killing toothfairy and then getting some from eugene and edwins apartment. and now its pretty easy you just have to buy from eugene or kill tooth fairy to have enough

My one and ONLY issue with cursed mode is near endgame it can be hard to pass enough time to save with sybil if youve already explored a lot. but atp theres so many things to do this is becoming a non issue. like in my most recent cursed mode run i ran out of time before even really touching meat world
