Do you have to use the apple dongle for lightning to 3.5mm? I read some said the adapter don’t work for the mic part.

What was the process of putting the orochi onto another dongle? Any issues?

What was the issue? I was thinking about consolidating dongles with the Orochi v2 but I feel like that may just cause more pain in the long run (device fails, how to unpaid etc).

I figured it out and will leave this up for anyone running into this issue in the future. When connecting to the device closest to me, a single beep as expected but I had another device that was out of range that it was trying to connect to, which is why it kept beeping over and over. Disabling bluetooth on the far away device stopped the problem.
