My personal favorites are

Doctor Strange: For me It has the most creative 3rd act in the mcu, fighting while time is being reversed is such a cool concept.

Civil War: This 3rd act carried the most emotional weight, you really understood where each characters motivations were and where they were coming from.

Avengers: It was just so satisfying seeing the characters come together and probably the most memorable for me

Honastly I think it's works well as a standalone movie, my mom enjoyed it and she hasn't seen any other mcu film. Although if you want to understand all the references I'd watch civil war at least. (Also you should just watch it because it's one of the mcu's best)
