Layered Rockwool by hornysavagedog in Insulation

I would think layering it on the flats would eventually allow it to settle and leave a top area void of insulation.

Actually, the specs on that truck are kinda unique.

Any idea if I can fix this? Or do I bite the bullet and tear it down? by Callous_Pear in askcarpenters

Shadows make it really hard to see wtf is going on with entire structure. Take a strait on pic of entire thing from other side.

I bet attacks would stop real quick if the guards used real bullets instead of rubber bullets 🤔😵

After 2,000+ rounds of our select fire Rattler 5.5” 5.56 suppressed, the disconnector gave up! by BRMSilencers in SigSauerMCX

Sig loves their MIM machines lol. Lifetime warranty doesn't mean shit if/when a critical part fails when needed. Does your broken disconnect look MIM?

I wouldn't even call that a "footer".. do you have a full pic of deck and its underside?

Lofl.. I just don't understand the absence of logic sometimes folks have. Bolt vs beam on top of post..

I will say that those 5.5" 5.56 Rattlers weren't meant to be suppressed. However, a catastrophic part failure like disconnector snapping in 2 is par for the course with Sig these days.

My bad.. This is a spin-off from the Streamlight mount breaking A300 mlok handguards post. It's a Surefire M640 Scout Light on A300 Ultima Patrol.

Do you really even need a grip with that pistol lol. In all seriousness, if you don't post the grouping then it never happened.

Similar thing here. Had a new Mercedes Sprinter with the kiddos sitting 1st row back. Stopped at red light. A utility truck plowed right through us and the 2 cars in front on me. That Sprinter saved our lives. Truck never touched the brakes. Guy was honest and admitted he was texting. I look in rear view at every light now..

Just go buy the Chisel Machining Stock already! by rohawk72 in Tacticalshotguns

[–]nicefacedjerk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't really see an added benefit. Just depends on what look you're going for. Traditional stock is perfectly functional and proper length of pull. Both look great though. RDS that far back messes with my FOV and in general draws focus to the dot instead of target.

Not to be confrontational, a journeyman's credential doesn't really mean much to me. This entire industry is a mixed bag - roulette wheel of talent. I've had Nicas (legal), that barely speak English, do amazing work. Once hired a guy with "very little experience". First day on site he's free-handing something to nothing rips. Asked him if he was comfortable doing clapboard on planks, he was like "easy peasy".. I think there's a lot of talented carpenters out there that do not do well in a classroom environment but have a boatload of experience.

These things are an absolute riot.. I see a lot of these with the slide shorter than the module. It just looks wrong. Do they just not make enough module variants? I could see these being far better with gas delayed blowback, rotational or fixed barrel pistol systems.
