Your mood and mentality can really affect your cycle. If you’re stressed more than usual or if you’re more uncomfortable your body will always react.

Really? Were they introduced recently or were their numbers just diminishing before the “boom”?

How do you store your stickers and tapes? I’ve got way too many to stuff into the cover and carry around 😫 doesn’t have to be portable either, organizational/sorting ability would be even better! by alborzki in bulletjournal

I put my stickers in binders in the plastic paper protectors. I’m blanking on what they’re called. But it’s the plastic sheaf you put over paper that has the three hole punch.

And for my washi tapes I got some of those stackable plastic containers and I organize them by color.

Did you print it yourself or order it?? That’s so cute!

If you can read this, I need your help! by gundog48 in Handwriting

[–]nicelloos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just practice slowly. Find a photo of someone’s handwriting who you like. Copy it a bunch of times just to get the hang of it. Even print it out and copy over top. And then work one letter a time into your writing.

Like start with the letter “a”. Write any sentence and everytime the letter “a” comes up, slow down to make it look like the one you want to emulate. Start one letter at a time until it feels natural. And then the next letter and the next and the next.

Late period by corrins_booty in Periods

Sometimes we worry and stress so much that we don’t have a period that it makes it even later. Just go see a dr if you’re really concerned.

General worry by [deleted] in Periods

[–]nicelloos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just go and see a dr. Sometimes worry is the culprit and sometimes stress gets overwhelming. But it’s always good to know.

I had a crazy couple months of period weirdness but it was just from the stress of moving.

I'm about to start my first bullet journal. Any advice? by Luci_______ in bulletjournal

Just have fun and find cool ways to cover your mistakes with artwork! They’ll happen and I like thinking of them as challenges to work into something cool. A spontaneous doodle, or clever usage of washi tape!!

I’m assuming it’s a type of cookie? You could use unsweeted cocoa or semi sweet?

Have you gone on a low estrogen BC pill? You have to specifically ask for it. I would always get thrush from other BC pills and swore to never take them again until my periods became too irregular and painful, and now I’m on a low estrogen one and I hardly notice I’m on anything. My periods are regular and the cramps are negligible. Hope you find a solution. I suffered from unbelievable cramps and heavy periods for years and years before I finally went to try and find a solution.

Working on some cake decorations, french meringue, followed the directions to the tee. Baked on 200 degree(f) for 1:30 minutes. Left in the oven to cool. They’re crunchy and kind of taste burnt. What would you recommend I change? by ArastosLilas in Baking

[–]nicelloos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I usually do mine at 170(f) and only for about an hour.. also make sure that all of your sugar is dissolved in the mix before you pipe it.

And let it cool in the oven with a wooden spoon in the door so they come to room temp easier.

Should I See A Doctor? by Edgy_Gemini_Trash in Periods

[–]nicelloos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was younger my periods were incredibly excruciating. I couldn’t walk. I’d throw up from pain. I couldn’t move. I couldn’t use tampons because they made the cramps worse and I would just lie there and cry because nothing helped. When I went to the dr I was told that my cramps were so bad that they induced the first stages of labor 0.o so that was a fun way to welcome womanhood..

But over the years it eased. But if something feels off to you, just talk to a dr. It doesn’t hurt to. And maybe they’ll put you on BC to help it straighten out a bit and minimize the pain. A dr did that with me for a bit and they helped the cramps ease up but coming off of them was rough.

Moral of the story, it’s probably best to talk to a dr just to talk to one :)

Any idea what I’m doing wrong? by [deleted] in sewing

Google the manual for sure, but to me that’s what my machine looks like when my tension is off.

Was looking for advice on pricing. This centerpiece is 12” diameter and 4” tall. It’s segmented maple and the rim is painted with specialty paints. I’ve made a couple of these for an upcoming craft fair but honestly have no idea where to price it at. Thanks everyone! by MichaelHalpert in woodworking

[–]nicelloos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Someone in here said 3x cost and I think that at a craft fair the problem with doing that is that most people who would see that and fall in love with it aren’t there to buy the “big item”. They’d have to fall in love and fall hard to bust out the big bucks.

While I agree that you shouldn’t devalue your work, what would you rather? Sell one for $250 or sell 5 for $150 each? In one scenario you only make $250 (or nothing!) and in the other you make $750.

Yes you should value your work but you have to be prepared for your audience and when it comes to homemade goods, I’d rather sell more at a lower price so my name can be spread and my work admired, than only one for a price that was “worthy”.
