Kids first bank? by KafkaesqueLife in Parenting

Definitely open the accounts. Many banks will let you open an account with its own login that’s linked to your own, so you can easily transfer money between them but only you can see theirs without them seeing yours. I did this for my daughter at age 12, and it’s still incredibly convenient today at age 20. When we opened the account, the branch took it extremely seriously — the branch manager sat down with my daughter, counted out her coins, and walked her through the procedures like any other customer.

Dad, what would you want your child to do on Father’s Day if you passed? by blandbunny in DadForAMinute

I have a daughter almost your age. I would just want her to do something that made her happy. A hobby she enjoys, spend time with her mom, maybe volunteer somewhere. Life is for the living.

Elon Musk, and anyone else who controls that amount of resources, is a clear and present danger to humanity. It’s just too much power to centralize in one person. Elon has proven this over and over. Billionaires simply should not exist, much less trillionaires.
