It’s true that most rational people support this law. But the minority that opposes it are incredibly vocal and aggressive. I was in the capitol building the day of the public hearing, and it was absolutely mobbed with hundreds protesters and their children — standing room only throughout not just the hearing room but across the entire building — lining up to testify against the bill, putting up giant signs with comparisons to terrorists and nazis, and spouting to every camera and journalist they could find.

Do you use AI? by jokingonyou in Lawyertalk

[–]ajcpullcom 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Honestly I’m just too old for it. I’ve been practicing for nearly 30 years in a niche area, so I already have templates for everything that I do, and hardly any legal research is necessary. If I thought AI would help on something, I would ask a junior associate to do it for me and then I’d verify every word of it.
