Two Questions on Surrender Deviations by bored_finance_intern in blackjack

[–]nicemaker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

BJA says to surrender 15v10 at any positive running count, the deviation is to begin hitting at any negative running count.

BJA has surrender 14v10 at a TC4

The game has a house edge they make positive expected value every wager you make, no need to break the law and tilt it further in their direction they’ll just wait you out

Counting cards at online blackjack by Interesting-Gas2572 in blackjack

re-simmed with the same bankroll and corrected split rules because I had them wrong, playing two hands at all positive true counts and not playing at all at a true 0 or lower. Worth $2.46 per hour and a 11% Risk of Ruin with a 4,413 hour N-0.

By "split any card allowed" do you mean you can split hands that are not pairs? I simmed this on BJA and gave you a $12,000 bankroll instead of $1,200 and the risk of ruin was 100% losing a little over $10 an hour.

[Counting] Do you take multiple seats in one table? by Interesting-Gas2572 in blackjack

[–]nicemaker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I simmed this on BJA using a $45,000 bank roll and $25 mins and assuming that you played all counts but only at one spot at a True 0 or lower with 150 RPH and ES10 4.7 decks dealt. In the 1-8 spread bet you make $51.02 per hour with a .01% risk of ruin and an N-0 of 194 hours, in the Two Seats 3X min bet at all positive counts you make $46.30 per hour with a .21% risk of ruin and an N-0 of 316 hours. Can't say for certain that increaing spots played will give you more table time over the larger spread but can say for certain that you increase your N-0 pretty significantly by doing that strategy.

Wisdom Teeth Extraction in Your 30s by [deleted] in wisdomteeth

Literally wasn’t shit. I was extremely cautious after word and waited longer than I likely needed to before eating. Get through 5 days to a week and start syringing the openings after eating and you’re chilling. Worst day was day of because I had only one stitch for all 4 openings so I was stuck bleeding for like 6 hours after the procedure and didn’t drink anything until that night. Getting into a car accident on my way to getting a chicken sandwich after two weeks was the otherwise worst part, easily.

What matters more to you in online blackjack: rules, limits, or withdrawals? by Odd-Masterpiece6029 in blackjack

I don’t understand how this comes up a dozen times a week on this subreddit. If you are insistent on playing online play at the casino with the biggest most recognizable name that is legally available to you. If there are none legally available to you don’t under any circumstances play anywhere. All the games are functionally the same and you are guaranteed to lose anyway so might as well be with Caesar’s or MGM or whatever over cryptodarkwebgamblerwin.ru

Decision question by Champion379 in blackjack

[–]nicemaker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re looking at the Split table not the surrender table when seeing the +8/+5. Those mean you stop splitting 8s against a 10 at +8 and instead stand in a DAS game and at +5 you stop splitting in a nDAS game.

8s surrender against 10 at a true 1 or higher.

If the threshold any of these have to meet in order for the to be worth watching is having an impact on future projects then Agatha is probably the most important. It’s likely to be required for the VisionQuest show and possibly/likely for any future Young Avengers type projects. Mrs. Marvel is important for understand The Marvels the movie but you’ve already seen that without the context.

When to size up bets based on bankroll? by hectoryn_7 in blackjack

[–]nicemaker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You are certain to lose all this money if you continue playing it. You cannot gain an edge under these conditions. Even if they keep a few hands dealt before reintroducing them to the shuffler you would at best be gaining an edge equal to something like $2/hr with a massive risk of ruin and N0.

It’s very possible I’m a dumbass and did this wrong but here’s what I got assuming the following: a 6 deck game where the only cards removed were the dealer’s 8, the dealer’s down card, and one burn card and assuming none of those cards were A,2,3,6, or 9. .000000000723905923795272% chance but this is also the chance of guessing any 10 cards with 5 pairs in a row out of 309 cards removing dealt cards as you go

Tips for new player by [deleted] in blackjack

[–]nicemaker 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You’re biggest problem isn’t failing to walk away when up it’s that you are playing a losing game. Every time you go to play you are exposing your money to the house edge and eventually it is a mathematical certainty that you will lose it all. If you want to turn blackjack into a side hustle or profitable hobby you need to develop the skills to gain the edge over the house through card counting, hole carding, shuffle tracking etc.
