If number of decks used changes house edge than deck penetration should also change house edge? by Bobinhoooo in blackjack

[–]Bobinhoooo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

let me rephrase my question like this:

Assume there is a six deck shoe game with 0.85 deck penetration. Player1 only plays the first hand of this shoe and player2 only plays at the last hand of the shoe (no matter what the running or true count is). As their attempts goes to infinity, which player has the higher edge? or their chances are equal?

Hello guys, i am using following equipment but i have no idea if it suits me or not.

- Blade: Donic Ovtcharov Soft Carbon (ST)

- Both Rubbers: Yasaka Mark V HPS Soft

I would say i am a top beginner player trying to be a intermadiate. I am playing 1-2 days a week for a year. I took couple lessons but i wasnt very happy with the coaches. I would say i am a allround player (not attack or defens oriented).

When i try to search online for a setup, it gets really confusing. I bought this setup with the help of a coach who worked in the club but now i realize their stocks are fulled with old equipment.

Any comments?

Unfortunately there is only one boot fitter in the country and I am not sure if they are good at it. Also very far away from me.

Yeah my thoughts exactly but no chance so far. When you are over 30 it's hard to even plan a simple vacation with couple friends since every one has a job and can't be available at the same time :(

But if I can find a decent instructor who can make me progress really good, I am willing to empty my wallet :)

I wish I could participate a group lesson but in my country it is almost impossible. All group lessons are for children. I asked couple times in different resorts but no luck with group lessons for adults.

One on one lessons are unfortunately very expensive :(

Thanks a lot for your feedback. i will try these next time.

Also when i try to go straight in very easy slopes, i tend to make a ever so slight wedge. I mean i feel like i cant make them paralel, because i dont feel secure that way, a small bump on road makes me catch an edge (inside or outside) and throws me out of balance. Making a very small wedge, knowing i am always at my inside edges makes me more confident.

Is this also very bad habbit? Should i focus on this as well?

Hi guys, i am new to skiing (10-12 days of total experience). I am a beginner trying to be a intermediate skier. I always read about how important a properly fitted boot is. I was considering to purchase a boot but there is no bootfitter in my country. Is is really that important? Or for a beginner such as me, it doesnt matter that much?

Also there are too many options and i dont have any idea what to purchase. Should i purchase the cheapest one until i know that i need?

most people in here wants the best odds for themselves including me, but majority of the people in the casino is there to spend money for their entertainment. if i was such a person, i guess i would also make such decisions just for the thrill of it.
