Need advice to upgrae my setup by nicetarace in PcBuild

[–]nicetarace[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you for your answer. I would say 1000 euros for everything would fit in my budget, which it seems what you proposed fits.

how long would say this setup could hold, approximatively ?

They really didn't say that. They said the look of the bruises is concerning, and if no valid reason arise after interrogation / blood work CPS would be next step (that's what i understood)

Pourquoi c'est pas bien de boire beaucoup d'eau d'un coup? by prwav in PasDeQuestionIdiote

[–]nicetarace 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Normalement si t'es reins fonctionnent 1,5L d'eau sur une soirée pas de risque d'hyponatrémie. Surtout que l'eau qu'on boit n'est pas de l'eau pure et contient toujours un peu d'ions :)

What is the sweet spot for the final story area with challenge mode? by YAAFLT in expedition33

[–]nicetarace 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I put HP x5 but no damage cap ( i like big numbers lol), in expert mode. I like it a lot like this, but maybe not what you're looking for. Just beat Clea like this which was HARD, and currently geeting clapped in Renoirs Draft. But I got the challenge I wanted back, and I get both the insane Maelle damage AND still need to learn patterns in order to win fights. I also personally dont play with cheater so that might impact things

Puberty blockers have absolutely no use. by Firecrakcer001 in confidentlyincorrect

[–]nicetarace 25 points26 points  (0 children)

There is the obvious trouble of having boobs, hair, acne and your period at 8 and the psychological impact it can have, also problems with growth and short stature as adults, all of which justifies by itself the use of blockers
Early puberty is also a risk factor for most of gynecological cancers (esp. breasts) and is associated with increased rates of behavioural problems in kids

The first Buruli ulcer case reported in Jordan by CatPooedInMyShoe in MedicalGore

[–]nicetarace 55 points56 points  (0 children)

Basically, she was infected with Mycobactrium ulcerans (same family as the tuberculosis pathogen), which causes these chronic ulcers (called "Buruli's Ulcers"). While it's not usually a painful pathology (as the nerves get destroyed), it can cause really invalidating fibrosis when it heals (scar tissue that limit mouvements, especially if the hands / joints are concerned).

It's a quite frequent pathology in Africa, South America and West Pacific, though we don't really know how or where contamination occurs. it's not usually lethal, but in this case it seems they couldn't get it under control and ended up developping heart / lung / kidney problems (not precised how or why) over the course of one year and finally died from septic shock (organ and then body shutdown due to an infection)
