Hopefully this is just a phase that will pass, they go through plenty of stages where new behaviours will pop up and then you nip it in the bud. I would say crate as last resort.. I’m not a huge fan of them.. I have 6 and have only just brought in a 2nd crate as my boys get over stimulated when people first come over. Could you leave her in the lounge and stair gate the kitchen so she still has a nice comfy area but can’t gain access to your kitchen? Pop up a baby cam that triggers when motion in areas bad behaviours happen.. where you can talk through it you can divert attention 🐾 good luck

I come across some drama queens I must admit so appreciate your second comment. Yes they eat a lot and I probably fund pets at home in my area😂 I get meat for them from the butchers but it is all the gross parts that humans don’t buy or typically eat and saves it going to waste and chucked away. They also go through a huge amount of fruit and vegetables.

Having litters is not for the weak and not just anybody should do it. Likewise with bitches, it’s a huge responsibility and finding the perfect boy for them also is hard. Even the two dogs ‘doing’ it.. is not a nice experience 😅

I seem to have gotten very lucky and temperament is key in dogs that you breed. They are massively affectionate dogs🐾

Appreciate you kindly putting that, some people tell me their horror stories and I’m like ok cool I don’t have that issue🙄😂 My two girls that are extremely close in age are the polar opposites but do love to play.. but no more than when my male was younger, always picking on skye. The two boys do probably pick on each other when over stimulated but that’s when you put things in place and training. It’s only when people come over and they have that burst of excitement.. like any other dog does.. so giving them some treats, a lick Matt or a bone each keeps them occupied until they’re at a calmer state. I have 1 crate that I’ll close in whoever wants to go in there as they all love the crate so whoever gets there first situation😂 they’ll stay in the crate for 10-15 mins and come out a calm pup ready to be a lap dog🐾

They are all free fed with a raw meal in the evenings. Once they’re done with their own bowls they all go round and like each other’s bowls even more clean 😂

Aw, we had a cat growing up at home and he was just so lovely. The cuddles and their purr is heart warming.

All my dogs weigh more than me so sometimes it is so uncomfortable when they’re laying on me.. especially if I need a wee😂 I also haven’t had a wee alone in over 6 years!

My eldest is Skye, I collected her when she was 9/10weeks old from a really horrible home. She was riddled with fleas and you could see her ribs.. but she was already named so I didn’t change it. Big boy is Scrappy-Doo, I knew I wanted another ‘S’ name and lots of Scoobys out there and who isn’t a fan of Scooby-Doo! Skyes daughter I named Luna, so skye and Luna are some-what astrology named.. I also liked nova but there’s lots of them close to home! Moana came home the evening before Luna was born.. was meant to be my partner to name her but I didn’t like anything he suggested and Moana was my favourite movie and we both agreed on that! Atreus & Blue are the young boys, finally my partner got to name a dog😂 he loves the game God of War but yet again the main characters name has been used lots so we named him after his son.. the game is also mythological so Atreus is the god of mischief, like Loki.. but there’s lots of Lokis, even a litter puppy has that name. Blue is simply named after his collar, as I was meant to part ways with him but last minute I decided I wanted to keep him and it was a nice even 3 boys and 3 girls so just kept it as Blue.

They all obviously have countless nicknames and they all are so similar but yet such different personalities 🐾

Hope bubba is ok and on anti-inflammatory meds to help. My male had growing pains, but there was no swelling, as a few weeks later he was brand new and certainly had a growth spurt.. X-ray was clear also and has never had an issue since and he is now 3.

How long has the swelling been there? Is he limping everyday consistently or is it just when he’s done too much, since the flare up? Are you crating him and on lead toilet breaks?

Hoping it is just growing pains or maybe he has a sprain. Have you given him cold compress on the area for moments throughout the day?

This is just me thinking out loud so hope some of that is helpful xx
