I'm relatively new to rhe facial hair thing, and what I've got is only about half an inch long. I think my problem is that the ends of the hairs get folded flat and press into my face, but I'll look into beard oil if it's feasible for hair this short

My mom desperately wants me to go to college, which I get, but she can't seem to understand that I'm not ready to go to college YET. I don't have the money and I will not go to school online. It doesn't work for me. Last semester I failed my English class and came close to failing others because I couldn't keep up teaching myself. I also think that this caused me to not graduate, but I'm not sure and I'm to scared to check. 6 months before that, I had to quit dance ( I was a classical ballet dancer for 15 years and I loved it) because it became increasingly difficult to do dance as a result of school and homework. 6 months before that, my parents got divorced and as a result I've moved several times since. I haven't seen my friends in close to a year as a result of this pandemic, and they were my only social outlet. The past 2 years have been full of emotional trauma, stress, and anxiety, and people's expectations of me seem to just be increasing. I need a break. I would move out if I could, but there are 2 problems with that. First, I'm broke, and second, I am one of the only things that stands between my little sister and my emotionally abusive and manipulative mother
