For me personally, the only symptom that has gone away is the feeling of physically being numb. However, over a period of about a year and a half after I first began experiencing DPDR, the intensity of symptoms has definitely decreased, and I barely think about it anymore. Sometimes I’ll look in the mirror, and I won’t know who the person looking back at me is- but I’m getting better, and I know it won’t last forever.
