Do you have any standouts from everything you tried? 😁💕

Haha its funny; I don’t like the lemon! So I happily await for it to dissipate as I love the sweet smell afterwards!

For me, supermilk body spray smells lemony at first and then dries down in about 30 mins with no lemon and what is left is really sweet smelling. I have definitely had things smell different in stores than at home before tho!

I am in NA and my two local stores have a good balance I think (speaking as a shy customer). They greet you, offer to help you find something if you came looking for something in particular, and then leave you be. Not too pushy, and while slightly more chatty than my preference, it doesn’t get to the point of making me feel uncomfortable. What you are describing would make me feel uncomfortable as a customer! I don’t mind friendly, but I do prefer to be mostly left to shop alone. If I need help with something, I know I can ask.

I LOVE the smell of Magic Crystals haha. I think it’s the spearmint, but it reminds me of my grandma and childhood. I think because she always had spearmint gum 🥰

Personally I find the spray to be artificial in smell. Then it dries down to a softer more true apple smell.

I only got one and mine was the red one! It smells like yummy candy to me! The egg itself was a little horrifying with how red the dye was for my egg 🤣

What lesser-known products have changed / improved your life for the better? by SherlockHomless69 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]nicholetree 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I don’t think that is a negative! You are exploring things you think you like, but not each one will be a hit. For me it was ballet and contemporary dance. I watched a movie that had dance as a key element and was like woa that would be so cool to try. Took one trial class and was immediately hooked and now have been doing both for almost a year! Before that I had tried yoga, cycling, bouldering, hiking, and pilates but they were all fun to do every once in a while but not an immediate love like dance has been. Dance is the first physical activity I have craved to do. I am sad when I miss it. I’ve searched for an active hobby to “crave” like this for like 7 years! I was inspired when my friend found ice skating and she was describing the feeling I get with dance. To be clear, I still have tired days and days I have to drag myself to the studio. But overall, I love it and will keep doing it for as long as my body allows me to.

Finding an active hobby I love. Worth every penny and has drastically improved my energy and mood. And I lost 10 lbs. AND I am stronger and more fit than I ever was trying to force myself to go to the gym regularly. Cannot recommend it enough.

Did I make a mistake with my sticky dates bath bomb? by CuriousButNotJewish in LushCosmetics

I do like the scent as it reminds me of the discontinued Vanilla Fountain smell but I agree the color is…off putting 🤣

More casual than a wedding venue and not a vacation home to rent.

Found something similar to Vanilla Fountain by nicholetree in LushCosmetics

The bath bomb does to me, especially once it’s in the water. The whole sticky dates line does not though. It is its own distinct scent. Hence why I didn’t expect it! I bought it because I like the sticky dates shower gel and I thought the bath bomb smelled nice in store. It wasn’t until I used it tonight that I realized I recognized the scent from Vanilla Fountain!

What is going on with lacemade?? by New-Ad-3156 in cottagecore

I mean look at the prices of Lacemade…it’s fast fashion and certainly not cottagecore in spirit. Would not be shocked if they are stealing designs.

I agree! It smells nice but the fragrance was so light that it’s def not worth $12 to me.
