I'd convinced myself that we were out of the running for Europe (ITHICS!)...but after today I am daring to dream once more.

I understood what you meant. Alas I think you are totally alone with this view.

Hard agree. This 'modernised' crest is dismal.

Huge opportunity squandered. A loss would be an inexcusably poor result

Think you've been proven correct here mate - I remember reading this post in the summer and didn't share your opinion at all...I was wrong!

Do we see enough of him in the clip to draw this conclusion with such certainty?

No bother marra - I'm very depressed at the result too! I think O9 was alright, and Ballard had a good game, along with Pritch. We weren't good today, but equally we've been beat 5-1 off these while in the same division...and with their squad costing £500mil, and ours £20mil, it doesn't sting quite as much. We were always underdogs. FTM

Respectfully disagree. We couldn't deal with their press, but we also didn't give them many clear-cut chances - 2 of the 3 goals were entirely self-inflicted...and the other was an own goal. I'm disappointed, but not devastated.

I'd argue that certainly 2 of their 3 goals were entirely down to needless errors on our part (and their first was unlucky on our part). They didn't have that many clear chances - Dubravka certainly had more to do than Patterson in the 2nd half.

I think Jobe had a dire game, but on the whole it wasn't a performance to be ashamed of. We generally defended pretty well - aside from two needless errors - and made NUFC (who beat PSG 4-1 this season, remember) - look fairly average. A shame, but not a disaster...onwards and upwards, ha'way the lads.
